Fruits of Our Efforts
This past year in lieu of participating in a walk to raise funds towards autism awareness, we decided to raise funds for a scholarship to a local student who is on the autism spectrum and is graduating from our zone high school, Coral Springs High. Thoughout the year, our Play Pals coordinated Puzzle Pin sales to raise funds. This past week, Mrs. Panzarella and Ms. Pontillo presented a $1000 scholarship to a deserving student at the senior award ceremony. It was such a proud feeling to be able to present this scholarship.
Thank you to everyone who purchased Puzzle Pins throughout this school year! Together, we made a difference in the life of this student as he pursues post secondary education.
Summer Programs
The District has launched a new Summer Programs Online Resource, which provides information about summer programs and camps, including academic enrichment programs and school camps. Our students have been "working out" all year as Coral Park has been "Shaping Our Future". Please mark your calendar and join us for your grade level's Celebration of Learning Event! This is a great opportunity for you to see what your child has been working on and celebrate how much your child has grown academically this school year.
- Grades 2 and 3 April 30th from 8:15 to 9:30 am
- Grades 4 and 5 May 1st from 8:15 to 9:30 am
- Grades K and 1 May 2nd from 6:00 to 7:00 pm
The Book Fair will also be open during these dates and times.
